On Saturday, August 12 from 10 AM – 12 PM Boost Performance Gym (211 DuPont Street, Corona) will be hosting 30 foster boys from Olive Crest for a personal workout, with former San Diego State and Owner Ray Bass.
His vision of health and wellness for youth has been an intricate part of what Boost embodies. Bass, the owner and head trainer at Boost prides his business and relationships on community. Recently he worked with The Leela Project on an event in Perris, CA where Boost donated backpacks and provided beverages for kids from the Olive Crest organization.
When asked about the impact Boost had in the community the founder of The Leela Project, Dominick Verrette explained that “Ray and Stacy care about every single kid in the community like they are their own. They truly treat everyone like family.”
After the workout, the boys will be educated on health and provided a workout plan to chart progress. Boost will also be provided lunch and other prizes for the boys.
Any members of the community that are interested in getting involved in any of Boost’s upcoming community efforts are welcome to visit the gym on Saturday to speak with Ray or Stacy Bass or they can contact them at (951) 532-4904.
