Can coffee build community? It sure does seem to be the trend. From Corona Mayors to Norco Cops, everyone seem to be hosting coffee sessions, and now Corona-Norco Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Michael Lin is joining in the mix.
Earlier this month the district announced a series of community coffee meetings as a way for school families and community members to stay informed about District initiatives and learn more about what’s happening in Corona-Norco schools. Eight dates have been scheduled through the month of November at various locations throughout Corona, Norco, and Eastvale.
Attendees are welcome to come and go at any time during the specified time frame and ask questions, offer input, and learn more about the school district in a small, informal group setting. For now, the events will be held quarterly to survey attendees and make necessary modifications to ensure the events are meaningful and add value to the District and the community.
School families or community members with questions about the event are encouraged to contact Community Relations at 951-736-5013.
