Each season, the Corona-Norco Unified School District releases a short video detailing the progress of work on schools benefiting from Measure GG funds.  Yesterday, the district released its winter 2017 video with details on the progress of all four schools.

According to the update, Norco Elementary is nearing the halfway point of its construction of the updated multi-purpose room and library.  The school will also be getting parking lot upgrades to improve traffic flow and conditions at the school.

Construction at Adams Elementary is 50% complete and the new office building is ready for use.  All of the existing older structures in front of the school have been removed, the parking lot has been renovated and the school now dons an all-new shiny John Adams Elementary sign.

Phase one of Garretson Elementary School’s renovations are on track to be completed in January of next year with phase two beginning shortly after and will include new kindergarten classrooms and a new library building.

Lincoln Alternative, soon to be renamed Lincoln Fundamental, is on schedule to open its new doors on May 9, 2018.  The new school buildings will allow the school to offer five classes instead of four for each grade level.  The renovations also include a kindergarten specific entrance, a new large multipurpose room, library and media center, and administration building.
