Earlier this month we shared with you a list of three area car shows taking place this summer. (BTW there’s still time catch the third) One of those car shows was a benefit for local veterans held at Corona senior living community, Estancia Del Sol.  The event took place on June 10 and featured classic cars, live music from The Smoking Cobras, carnival games, food, and prizes.

Thanks to the support of the community, Estancia Del Sol was able to raise $1,000 through their 50/50 raffle and carnival tickets with all proceeds benefiting the local VA office in support of PTSD awareness.

This is the third year Estancia Del Sol has held a summer car show, but this is the first year the proceeds went to help local veterans.  In 2016 and 2015 proceeds from the event were donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The 117-unit Estancia Del Sol community offers independent living, assisted living and memory care and offers a range of activities aimed at keeping residents engaged with the local community. For more information, please visit
