Though the new 91 Express Lanes and general purpose lanes opened on the 91 freeway this past March, the 91 Project continues to generate nighttime closures along the 91 as crews continue ongoing completion activities, such as electrical work, maintenance, and inspections.  As part of the work, the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) has announced a new series of closures between May 15 and May 20, 2017.

Ramp Closures

  • Westbound 91 Main Street Off-Ramp, May 15 from 7:30 pm to 4:30 am – Use westbound 91 Lincoln Avenue off-ramp as the alternate route.
  • Northbound 15 Ontario Avenue On-Ramp, May 15 from 8 pm to 4:30 am – Use northbound 15 Magnolia Avenue on-ramp as the alternate route.
  • Northbound 15 Magnolia Avenue Off-Ramp, May 16 from 8:30 pm to 4:30 am – Use northbound 15 Ontario Avenue off-ramp as the alternate route.
  • Northbound 15 Magnolia Avenue On-Ramp, May 17 from 8:30 pm to 4:30 am – Use northbound 15 Ontario Avenue on-ramp as the alternate route.
  • Southbound 15 Magnolia Avenue Off-Ramp, May 18 from 9:30 pm to 5:30 am – Use southbound 15 Ontario Avenue off-ramp as the alternate route.
  • Southbound 15 Magnolia Avenue On-Ramp, May 19 from 11 pm to 7:30 am – Use southbound 15 Ontario Avenue on-ramp as the alternate route.

Connector Closures

  • Southbound and Northbound 15 to Westbound 91, May 16 from 8 pm to 4:30 am – As a detour, take eastbound 91 and exit McKinley Street to enter westbound 91.
  • Eastbound 91 to Northbound and Southbound 15, May 19 from 10:30 pm to 8 am – As a detour, continue eastbound 91 and exit McKinley Street, enter westbound 91 to northbound or southbound 15.
