Six Things To Do In Corona This Week

The holiday season is behind us, but that doesn’t mean there still isn’t anything to do in Corona. Though the schedule is a bit lighter than usual here are a handful of things you can do in the Corona area this week.

Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres Cinema Classics: Titanic

Join Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres (2710 Lakeshore Drive, Corona) for a special “Cinema Classics” screening of the 1997 Academy Award winning movie Titanic. This special screening is just $7 and plays at 12:10 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 7:50 p.m. through January 12.

Tuesday, January 10

Chick-fil-A family Night – Head down to Chick-fil-A at The Crossings (3555 Grand Oaks, Corona) between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for family night.  This week enjoy a fun craft hosted by Inspire Charter School.

Junior Aeronauts  The Corona Public Library (650 S. Main St., Corona) invites kids ages 5-7 to explore the fundamentals of aeronautic, earth, and space science with hands-on activities during their Junior Aeronauts event from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Library Learning Lab.

Wednesday. January 11

LaRS on the Go! – Join the Library and Recreation Services this Wednesday at Parkview Park (2094 Parkview Dr, Corona) from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. for storytime, crafts and more!

Friday, January 13

Teen Open Mic – The Corona Public Library is inviting teens in 7th through 12th grade to show off their talents during a special Open Mic Night from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Community Rooms.  Acoustic, spoken word, acapella, poetry and freestyle performances can be on any subject, however pieces must be in good taste and suitable for the library audience.  Acoustic instruments, costumes, and props are acceptable, but not necessary. No registration required.

Saturday, January 14

Metal Meltdown – Join M15 for a night of heavy metal as they host Metal Meltdown featuring Edge of Paradise, Heaven Below, Skumlove, Face the Truth, and Reclaim the Sky.  This is an 18+ show. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are just $15
