Monday, January 23

LaRS on the Go! – Join the Library and Recreation Services for a remote storytime at the Auburndale Community Center (1045 Auburndale St, Corona) from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Origami Club – Visit the El Cerrito Public Library (7581 Rudell Rd, Corona) from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and learn how to fold origami with Ms. Becky.  All ages are welcome, children under 6 years old must have an adult helper.

ScratchJR Coding for Kids – Join the El Cerrito Public Library (7581 Rudell Rd, Corona) from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and learn about coding from ScratchJR and how to create your own stories and games.  This event is for kids ages 5-7 and no experience is necessary.  RSVP if your child does not have their own tablet to use.

Sons of Liberty Institute: The Making of America – Join Sons of Liberty Aleworks (1780 Town and Country Dr, Norco) for the first of a 12 part video lecture series called “The Making of America.”  The class is free and taps will be open.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a beer and learn about the settling of America.

Tuesday, January 24

Brick Building Club – For ages 6 and up, join the El Cerrito Public Library (7581 Rudell Rd, Corona) every Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and build your own LEGO creations.  Must sign up for session in person at the library. Space is limited. No walk-ins.

Scratch Coding for Kids – Join the El Cerrito Public Library (7581 Rudell Rd, Corona) from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and learn about coding from Scratch and how to create your own stories and games. This event is for kids ages 8-16 and no experience is necessary. RSVP if your child does not have their own laptop to use.

Wednesday, January 25

Preschool Storytime – For children ages 3-5, the Corona Public Library (650 S Main St, Corona) offers stories, songs, and playtime with a craft in the High Desert Room from 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Toddler Time – Join the Corona Public Library (650 S Main St, Corona) as they host storytime for ages 18-36 months. You and your toddler will enjoy a morning of stories, songs and playtime from 10:20 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Toddler Tales Storytime – Enjoy music, books and a craft for preschoolers from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the El Cerrito Public Library (7581 Rudell Rd, Corona)

Family Storytime – Bring the whole family to the El Cerrito Public Library (7581 Rudell Rd, Corona) from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and enjoy music, books and a craft that the whole family can enjoy.

The History of Racism in Corona – Join Corona History Association founder Don Williamson as he holds a forum recalling the restrictions and narrow attitudes based on race from Corona’s history.  The presentation will include events that took place in Corona’s earliest days, the attitudes of those that were affected and the progress that occurred over time.  This free event will be held at Corona Fundamental Intermediate School (1230 South Main St, Corona) from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Light refreshments will be available.

Aged to Perfection @ Stone Church Brewing – Enjoy an evening of ale and art as Stone Church Brewing (2785 Cabot Dr, Ste 160, Corona) hosts a Creative Souls Art Lounge Paint & Sip event.  From 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., artist McKenna will instruct you on painting a wine themed piece titled “Aged To Perfection.”  Tickets are $31 and must be purchased through the Creative Souls Art Lounge website.

Dueling Pianos – Join M15 Concert Bar & Grill (9022 Pulsar Ct, Corona) every Thursday for a free evening of dueling pianos.  This 18+ event kicks off at 7:00 p.m.

Paint & Sip: Snowy Trees – Join the Creative Souls Art Lounge (2780 Cabot Dr. Suite 155, Corona) as artist Jenny teaches you to paint snowy trees.  Bring your own snacks and drinks as you create your very own piece of art.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m., class starts at 7:00 p.m.  Price is $31.  Reserve your seat online.

Family Storytime – You and your child age 0-5 can enjoy a morning of fingerplays, songs, rhymes, and books for all ages.  End the morning with toddler free-play and preschool crafting.  Hosted by the Corona Public Library (650 S Main St, Corona) from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Grand Community Room.

Sound the Groove – Head to M15 (9022 Pulsar Ct, Corona) as Groove International officially brings its event to the Inland Empire.  The night will include live bands, DJs, gogo dancers, photographers and other wild fun.  Tickets are just $15 and can be purchased through Eventbrite.  This is an 18+ event.  Patrons under 21 must purchase a $5 drink voucher.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Skyland Ale Works Grand Opening – Join Skyland Ale Works as they celebrate the opening of their new expanded location (1869 Pomona Rd., Suites E & F, Corona)  This event will go from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. with 17 beers on tap including some special releases.  Food will be available for purchase from Ember Kansas City Style BBQ.

L.A. Guns Reunion – M15 Concert Bar & Grill presents L.A. Guns featuring Phil Lewis & Tracii Guns with supporting acts Syndicate 4, Shield of Faith and Daytona.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets.  This is an all ages show.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
